The upcoming 1.58 update for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator will introduce a third module, called the Double Trailer Handling, full of brand-new scenarios. Today, we have an update regarding Driving Academy. Our teams are currently working on a new set of scenarios for Driving Academy for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator which are really going to test your trucker skills when it arrives in the future! While this new chapter won't be, unfortunately, part of 1.54 update we still think you may be excited to read and see what the future holds.
Today, we are very happy to announce that Driving Academy is now available for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator! A few weeks ago, we announced this new game module in this blog and showed you a preview of it in some of our live streams, and now you can finally try it out for yourself.
We are excited to share with you that a new game module for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator will be introduced with the 1.52 update - Driving Academy. This free update will include sets of scenarios which we hope will teach our players a thing or two about driving and maneuveringhttps://blog.scssoft.com/search/label/Driving%20Academy a truck in a fun and captivating way.
This time, our team took a deep dive into how we could pass on more hands-on know-how about handling trucks with two trailers, better known as doubles. We've put together a set of challenging scenarios that guide players step by step through forward driving, manoeuvering, and reversing with doubles.
New in this upcoming module, players will be able to achieve up to 3 collectable stars, which can be earned by meeting additional conditions such as only using the interior camera, limiting gear shifts between drive and reverse, or completing the scenario in the set time.
You will go from basic driving to navigating intricate courses and complex parking maneuvers with a detailed explanation via driving instructions including diagrams, pointers, and directions. We also wanted to allow drivers to analyze their drive so we have implemented a new replay feature into this game module as well.
